This is an evening wedding in dark jeweled tones and it has a vintage theme. Carrie chose a vintage dress of satin with a sheer overdress. The sheer is a dotted fabric. The bodice is gathered to a cumberbund that is gathered at the sides. The shoulder seams fall a little to the front instead of on the top of the shoulder. The full sleeves are gathered to a cuff and the skirt falls free to the ankles. Carrie wears satin flats to complete her outfit.
This outfit was chosen to coordinate with the wedding of a collage mate of Carrie's who wanted Carrie to coordinate her wedding. Miranda chose a polka-dotted theme for her wedding so Carrie chose this dotted blouse. The skirt is made from a lighter weight twill. To add a bit of fashion Carrie added a silk scarf. The wedding was on the beach of a lake and the wind coming off the water was a bit chilly, making Carrie glad she had brought along her alpaca sweater. These smaller pumps were maybe not the best thing to wear in the sand but Carrie made it through the wedding just fine. She did sigh with relief when Miranda drove into the sunset happily married though, because since Miranda had wanted everything just perfect, things had been a little difficult for a while.
This wedding is in browns and tans, Margaret is a middle class young woman from the local town but she is marrying the CEO of a large company, so she is having a large wedding. The wedding is a dressy affair but also had a lot of work put into it and since Carrie will have to help with last minute stuff and the clean up afterwards, she chose something that looks very nice but is also serviceable. This pencil skirt is a light weight denim; the top is knit with a ribbon sash. Satin flats complete her outfit.
This wedding has a lot of glitter to it, choice of the bride. So, Carrie wears this dress with a sparkly bodice. The dress has a sheer over-skirt. She wears a fabric bolero and tall, smooth leather boots.
The wedding day for Manu's late husband's cousin's daughter is finally here. Carrie has given Manu the day off.
"I will handle this day. You take some time to just enjoy yourself," Carrie had told her. Carrie arrived at the office early to gather up a few final supplies, then headed over to the building where the wedding was being held. Emilee (the bride) had chosen a vintage-style wedding with soft peachy rose colors. So Carrie is wearing this little vintage dress she found at a store months ago. She picked it up and added it to her closet, never knowing if she might need it some day. The dress is made of crepe with lace applique at the neck and on the sleeves. Turns out this dress was perfect for Emilee's wedding. Carrie went with tall sued-ed leather boots, and because Carrie has frequent headaches that come on with no warning she always wears her hair down though she does carry a barrette in her bag just in case she needs to pull it back for some reason or another. This is our new doll Carrie! Carrie Marmon works as assistant to wedding consultant Manu Balding. Manu has a very successful business and is kept quite busy helping plan weddings for the people of Worcester, Massachusetts. Carrie is her only assistant and has been a life saver many times. Carrie has found her list of clients to see through their big day growing longer. The last five weeks she has been very busy with the large wedding of one of Manu's late husband's cousin's daughters. She has many other weddings in different stages. Carrie is required to dress semi-formal for her job as well as coordinating somewhat with the style of the weddings she attends as coordinate/consultant. Manu and her husband never had any children so out of office hours, Manu thinks of Carrie as the daughter she never had. The two of them get along very well.
